Iceberg Seafood secures its future at the eastern part of the port in Hirtshals
Last week, the establishment of what soon will become Iceberg Seafood's new sales office began at the eastern part of the port in Hirtshals. Over time, the office in Havnegade has become outdated, and therefore the company will now secure its future surroundings.
Iceberg Seafood has been located in Havnegade for one and a half decade, and therefore the managing director of the company is looking forward to moving from the existing premises to new and modern facilities.
- After 15 good years in Havnegade, it is time to replace the old office with one that is more up to date. At the same time, we have chosen to future-proof the new office building so that, in addition to our current employees, it is geared for a possible future expansion of the staff, says Jesper Lauritzen, managing director of Iceberg Seafood.

The construction work for Iceberg Seafood's new sales office has already begun.
Around April 2021, the office building is expected to be move-in ready for Iceberg Seafood's sales office that today consists of five employees. The building will be located on the corner of Niels Juelsvej and Willemoesvej next to the North Sea Oceanarium.
Due to its location, Iceberg Seafood will have great access to both port facilities, the railway and the E39 motorway. These are some of the main reasons why the area is very suitable for offices and light industry.
Iceberg Seafood was established as a sales office for the two prawn trawlers "Steffen C" and "Regina C". In 2016, "Steffen C" was however replaced by a newly built prawn trawler called "Svend C", and in 2018, it was "Regina C's" turn to be replaced by a newly built "Regina C". Today, the company primarily sells prawns from their own trawlers as well as Greenland halibut and cod, mainly from Greenland, to the whole world. For Iceberg Seafood, it is important to sell fresh products of high quality with great taste.
