The Port of Hirtshals goes online to attract new companies to the port

The Port of Hirtshals is continuously working to attract new companies to the port in order to strengthen the skills of the business cluster even more, and as part of the Port of Hirtshals' new commercial rental strategy, you can now find the port's vacant commercial land on the website.

In connection with the new online rental initiative, the managing director of the Port of Hirtshals, Jens Kirketerp Jensen states:
- It is not just about renting out land, but about creating business growth and not least a good interaction between the companies at the port. With our new commercial overview on the website, we want to show that the port's geographical location holds great potentials for companies in the transport, fishery and maritime service sector.

There are currently 106.000 m² of vacant commercial land on the port's land expansion, on which you have a unique opportunity to place your company. The commercial land is located on the eastern part of the port and includes both land with an optimal location in relation to multimodal logistics solutions and the business cluster at the port as well as land with a short distance to quays.

The new commercial land has a direct road connection to the E39 motorway and will mainly have facades facing the approach road to the business area. Thereby, the tenants will achieve high visibility for the traffic to and from the terminal area, including the traffic to Norway and the North Atlantic.

The Port of Hirtshals is one of Scandinavia's central logistics and transport centres. Annually, over 2.4 million passengers and 150,000 lorries pass through the port. Furthermore, the port has one of the largest clusters of fish companies in Denmark. The annual landed fish have a value of over DKK 500 million a year. Today the Port of Hirtshals serves as a turntable for freight transport between Norway, the North Atlantic and the European continent, and with the start-up of a new rail freight link between Hirtshals and the rest of Europe in 2020 this function will be strengthened even further.

By placing your company at the Port of Hirtshals, you will thereby open up a number of new opportunities and give the company a chance to realise its growth potential. See the vacant commercial land here.
