New charging points for electrical cars at Fjord Lines terminal
In cooperation with Fjord Line and CLEVER, the Port of Hirtshals has installed six charging stations for electrical cars at Fjord Line's terminal. From now on, passengers who drives electrical cars, can recharge their cars while waiting for the ferry to Stavanger, Bergen and Langesund in Porsgrunn.


The installation of the first charging stations for electrical cars is another part in the Port of Hirtshals supporting the United Nation's 17 global goals. As part of the work with the 17 goals, the Port of Hirtshals priorities in relation with development activities solutions and investments which support the global goals.
Today electrical cars compose about 4% of the vehicle fleet in Norway. As both European politicians and the European car industry have devoted significant resources for development of electrical cars, the Port of Hirtshals aims to strengthen its market position and provide the best service for the European car fleet in the future.
